Secondary Green is a lively vibrant classroom which currently has nine students varying in age between fourteen and eighteen years. There are currently two SNAs supporting our students daily alongside the class teacher. We in Secondary Green work in partnership with parents, the wider school community, outside agencies and allied health professionals such as speech therapists and physiotherapists to achieve the best possible outcomes for all of our students. Students unique and individual gifts and talents are identified at an early stage following their entry into our class and every opportunity is taken to nurture, further develop and enhance these talents. We are proud of all of our students and celebrate each and every one of their achievements.
Secondary Green students in our classroom continue on their journey of lifelong learning and achievement and are working towards becoming independent adults.
Students of Secondary Green follow the Department of Education Junior Certificate Level 1 Programme (L1LP) together with elements of the new Primary Language Curriculum and also the Revised Primary School Curriculum. The curriculum is differentiated and tailored to meet individual students learning needs. Students individual learning programmes are informed by their Individual Educational Plans and SMART targets, which are reviewed termly.
Consolidation of relevant life skills for the students in this class are gained through opportunities for real life learning experiences. Junior Cycle L1LP is divided into 6 Priority Learning Units (PLUS) that allow for a flexible approach centred on the individual students strengths and needs.

2. Numeracy
3. Being in a Community
