Different times for us presently.We may not be in the School building but we are still very busy at School.This week was our first week communicating through ‘Zoom’.

It has been a great learning experience and I am so proud of Secondary Yellow to how well they have all adapted to this .We have had some laughs along the way and all of them have completed work on line .We have sang and had stories too.

They all deserve a break for the Easter Holidays but they love chatting with friends as you can see below so we are going to continue this over the next two weeks.

We also are planning a party next Thursday for a special birthday boy so keep an eye out for more photos

On Thursday the 9th of April even though it was Easter Holidays we all gathered to celebrate Pauric’s 18th birthday.It was a very unusual party as it happened on ‘Zoom’. We all dressed up for the occasion and brought goodies with us We played games,sang songs and even Pauric blew out a birthday candle.

On Tuesday 28th of April we went on a trip around the world.We had been learning about the Continents so we put on our sunglasses and boarded a virtual plane to travel to each students choice of destination. We had great fun doing this with lots of laughs along the way……

Even though we had no school today students were still anxious to check in and have a chat.So today we started by having a ‘just dance ‘ session followed by an indoor scavenger hunt .Well done to Emily who won and quickest back with the items she needed to find.To finish off Padraic suggested we listen again to one of our songs this week which was ‘Walking on Sunshine’.We all got up and had another dance session which was good fun…photo below.

Over the past week (14th may ‘20) we have played a song and danced along to …this has now become our new class song…dont’ forget to listen to it and sing along too.

Well done to everyone who wrote and sent letters to family and friends this week.They were a joy to read

29th of May 2020-A wonderful finish today to our themed Movie Week.We all dressed up as our favourite film character.We also had lots of movie quizzes this week which were great fun.Well done to everyone you deserve a nice weekend off (photos below)
