Our Christmas Door!

This week we created our Christmas door for the whole school Christmas door competition.

The class looked up different ideas for Christmas door on the internet and they decided that they would make a snowman.

The students discussed how they would make the snowman and it was decided that they would use cotton balls for 3D effect.

The class went to Euro giant and Dealz to buy materials needed to make the door- they bought cotton balls, PVA glue, and snowflakes to stick on the door.

When they returned from town they got to work - they cut out three large circles using items around the school shaped as a circle as templates. They covered each circle with cotton balls and stuck the circles together. They cut out the eyes, nose, mouth, buttons and scarf using different colour paper. They collected twigs outside to use as arms.

They looked up various catchphrases to put on the door, and decided they liked the catchphrase ‘Chill Out!’ the best.

When we were finished they stuck it to the door. The students were very proud of their work. 😎
