Black Berry picking

An introduction to Seamus Heaney and his poem Black Berry Picking took us out doors on an adventure. After identifying the briars and black berries, we proceeded to pick them after which we examined their colour, smell, taste and texture. We then created images using the berries. With “grey rat fur” on rotting berries didn’t go down too well.
