Numeracy ; working with money

We have been learning to add money and calculate change. Having practiced our adding and subtracting skills we made a shopping list for items to make rolls and wraps for our lunch. We checked the prices of goods in catalogs and on line, then we went shopping in the local supermarket . After returning to class we prepared our own lunch, ate it and cleaned up afterwards.
