BLAST resident artist Martina Coyle 2023

Martina started to work with a group of students from Orange, Purple and secondary Blue. We met for two hours per week over a number of weeks. Our goal was to complete a project from start to finish in the allocated time. Students experienced sculpture of artists world wide, they made sculpture using fabric and they made bird feeders using clay. They worked with a variety of materials during the period. The over all project was to create a bird feeder using clay and recycled objects.The students enjoyed the sessions with Martina, she supported and encouraged the students to be creative and push boundaries.
